It’s been a loooong time without face-to-face events and exhibitions. Event after event has been postponed and cancelled. Finally, it seems that we can get back to meeting each other again in person.
We have planned quite a busy fall for us with several interesting events to attend. Here’s the list of events where you can meet the GISGRO team in person.
OCEAN BUSINESS on October 12-14, 2021, in Southampton, UK
In Ocean Business 2021 exhibition you’ll have a chance to explore the latest high-end technology for marine professionals. For surveyors, it offers a wide variety of product demonstrations. For port authorities, the expo provides information on the latest technology hydrographic survey technology, for example.
Get inspired by the latest innovations! You will find GISGRO at stand P8, and we’ll have a workshop “A cloud-based GIS platform for surveyors to visualize, analyze and share data directly to clients” on October 12 at 13:30 pm -14:30 pm.
GREENPORT CRUISE & CONGRESS on October 20-22, 2021, in Piraeus, Greece
Being green is an ambitious mission of the whole port industry. How to achieve environmental goals and, at the same time, to maintain economic growth? How to tackle the challenges of climate change and provide efficient and safe service to maritime transport?
These questions, and many more, are addressed in the GreenPort Cruise & Congress this year. Our CBDO Ville Mäkeläinen will bring his effort to the discussion with his speech “Taking Small and Medium Sized Ports on Board with Digitalization” on day two, October 21 at 16:15 pm.
SMART DIGITAL PORTS OF THE FUTURE on November 3-4, 2021, in Rotterdam, Netherlands
How digitalization enhances connectivity and collaboration in the port industry? Sharing experiences helps the industry to look forward and prepare for the challenges the future brings us. Development of technology and change in processes and ways of working are warmly welcomed by the whole industry and we want to be part of this change.
This event brings together the experts of port digitalization and the port authorities. GISGRO will be sponsoring the event, and our team can be visited at the GISGRO stand. GISGRO’s Head of Sales Karri Koistinen will attend a panel discussion on the topic “Digital platforms: How platforms can enable collaboration, extract more value from data and transform the supply chain” on October 3 at 11:00 am.
DIGITALIZED SMART PORT CONFERENCE November 17-18, 2021, in London, UK
Our team also attends another smart port conference in London this fall. Digitalized Smart Port Conference is a get-together of port authorities, solution and software providers, and regulation institutions that will bring topics such as the benefits of port digitalization and smart solutions on the table.
GISGRO’s Client Executive James Hosken will have a presentation “How to Take the First Steps in Digitalising Port Assets” on November 18 at 9:15 am.
GEOBUSINESS November 24-25, 2021, in London, UK
The largest geospatial event in the UK will attract land and marine surveyors to see and discuss what is new in the industry. GIS software, survey technology and BIM solution providers are introduced to the visitors, bringing ideas, inspiration, and education to everyone eager to learn.
