How to accept dataset(s)

Accept dataset(s)

Surveyors can easily share datasets to their clients simply by email. You (the client) can accept the datasets by logging in to GISGRO – after datasets have been transferred, all users in the your organization will see the newly added datasets.

Note! If you have multiple organizations, you will select in which organization you want to add datasets

New GISGRO user

As a new user, you will receive invitation to GISGRO platform by email. Click the link in the email and fill in the required information. If needed, you can change your organization’s name predefined in the invitation. When you log in the first time to GISGRO, you will automatically accept the shared datasets. Just sit and relax while GISGRO will transfer all datasets under your organization’s account. When the transfer is ready, you will be redirected to map view. You can now utilize the shared dataset(s). (see more in How to select dataset)

Existing GISGRO user

As an existing user, you will receive an email when a surveyor has shared dataset(s) with you. You will accept these datasets automatically when logging in to GISGRO the next time. After the data transfer is done, you will see ‘NEW’ tag in all of the newly shared datasets (see the image below).

If you have multiple organisations in your account, you will first need to select the organization under which you want your data to be transferred.
