Cross Section
You may use the cross-section tool to cut vertically or horizontally across a region on the inspection site and assess the cut region in a 2-dimensional form. You may also adjust the plane slider to make it wider or move its position around the cross-sectioned area.
Cut cross section
Activate Cross section tool by clicking ‘Cross section icon’ from the toolbar:
- Select 2 points to form a line. Vertical cross section is created just by clicking, horizontal cross section by holding Shift while clicking.
- Adjust the position of the cross-section by holding the slider from the middle, moving left or right
- Adjust the width of the cross-section by individually holding the endpoint of the slider, moving left or right
- Reset the positioning by clicking Reset cross-section
Deactivate the tool by clicking the ‘Cross section icon’ from the toolbar again.
