How to create an issue – read more in How to add assets, issues and notes
Person in charge
Add the person in charge (A) to an issue, so that person will stay up to date with alterations. This could be someone in charge of subcontracting or alike. The person in charge will receive emails when:
- Person in charge is assigned
- The status of an issue is updated
- A service request is created and/or updated
Note! You will not receive the emails if you assign yourself as a person in charge.
Status
With issue status (B) you can easily change the status of an issue, without a need to add a service request.
Anyone can update the status from the drop down options: Open, Ongoing, Repaired or On hold
Note! If an issue has a service request, the status is not shown.
Service requests
You may send service requests (C) to the subcontractors responsible for handling the repair immediately and get regular updates regarding the progress of that request. Multiple service requests may be added to one issue. See more about service requests in Service requests for assets and issues
Note! When the issue’s status is other than open, service requests cannot be added
